'Deal tussen AlphaTauri en Hugo Boss bijna rond'

Het team van AlphaTauri zal volgend seizoen onder een andere naam op de grid staan. De Italiaanse zusterrenstal van Red Bull Racing is hard op zoek naar een nieuwe titelsponsor en het lijkt er sterk op dat ze beet hebben. Het lijkt er namelijk op dat de deal met Hugo Boss zo goed als rond is.

Aankomend seizoen gaan er veel dingen veranderen bij het huidige AlphaTauri. De renstal gaat inniger samenwerken met Red Bull, het team krijgt een compleet nieuw bestuur en er komt dus een nieuwe titelsponsor. Momenteel luistert het team nog naar de naam van het kledingmerk van Red Bull, maar de Oostenrijkse eigenaren willen een nieuwe titelsponsor in huis halen. Het lijkt er op dat een ander kledingmerk nu de naamgever van het team gaat worden.

Al geruime tijd gaan er geruchten rond over de komst van Hugo Boss. De deal tussen het wereldberoemde kledingmerk en AlphaTauri is volgens F1-Insider bijna rond. De nieuwe naam van het team wordt volgens het Duitse medium een combinatie van de merknamen Hugo Boss en Red Bull. De mogelijke komst van Hugo Boss naar AlphaTauri zal waarschijnlijk gevolgen hebben voor het team van Aston Martin. Het kledingmerk is momenteel namelijk nog één van de sponsoren van de Britse renstal.

    Ik vraag me echt af hoeveel geld Red Bull zelf kwijt is aan de 2 renstallen sinds 2006. Met de sponsoren die ze nu hebben en de budget cap, zijn de kosten dekkend. Het prijzengeld zorgt ervoor dat er geld verdiend wordt. De waarde van de renstallen zit, als je de marktwaarde van Alpine als gemiddelde neemt, is over de 2 miljard. Waarom maakt GPTODAY daar niet een keer een stuk over.
