Russell durft geen voorspellingen te doen over titelstrijd 2024

Het team van Red Bull Racing heeft dit seizoen de touwtjes stevig in handen in de Formule 1. Kenners verwachten dat Red Bull in de komende jaren ook zal domineren, maar niemand weet dat zeker. George Russell durft nog geen voorspellingen te doen voor 2024, hij houdt alle opties open.

Het team van Red Bull Racing heeft dit jaar een enorme voorsprong op de concurrentie. Ze hebben tot nu toe alle Grands Prix gewonnen, ze zijn alleen wel drie keer verslagen in de kwalificaties. Achter de Oostenrijkse renstal is het momenteel zeer spannend. De teams van Mercedes, Ferrari, Aston Martin en McLaren zijn aan elkaar gewaagd. McLaren zette halverwege het seizoen grote stappen waardoor ze regelmatig kunnen meevechten om het podium.

Voorspelling

Mercedes-coureur George Russell vraagt zich af hoe de Formule 1 er volgend seizoen uitziet. De Brit wil tegenover de internationale media een voorspellingen doen over 2024: "Het is onmogelijk om echt iets te voorspellen. Niemand had verwacht dat Aston Martin zo'n grote stap zou zetten en niemand had verwacht dat McLaren ineens het tweede of derde team zou zijn. Met een goed aerodynamisch ontwikkelingsproces en genoeg testtijd in de windtunnel, kan een team zoals Williams ineens stappen gaan zetten. Het allerbelangrijkste is dat we kijken naar waar we ons kunnen verbeteren."

Wereldtitel

Russell hoopt vanzelfsprekend dat zijn team Mercedes volgend seizoen een aantal stappen kan gaan zetten. De Brit wil echter niet te hard van stapel gaan lopen: "Met al het talent in ons team is het natuurlijk het doel om volgend seizoen weer mee te strijden voor de wereldtitel. We gaan echter niet te hard roepen dat wij dat doel gaan bereiken, we weten simpelweg niet wat de andere teams kunnen gaan doen."

Vriend George heeft gelijk, je weet niet hoe de kaarten geschud zijn na de winterstop.
Kan zomaar zijn dat Ferrari of Aston Martin of McLaren of Mercedes de vlag overnemen.

Met al het talent in ons team, Nou dat zien we wat voor talent ze hebben in het team, ze moesten nu eens zelf de auto ontwerpen, en het was gelijk een bagger wagen.

Nee vriend, de komende 2 jaar gaat dat geen winnende auto worden voor Mercedes.

2024 - 2025 Zal Max ook de titel gaan pakken, ze weten precies hoe ze deze wagen nog sneller moeten maken, de anderen teams kunnen kopiëren wat ze willen, maar dat is altijd oude meuk wat ze erop gaan zetten, van Ferrari verwacht ik wel dat ze dichterbij zullen komen, andere kant dat verwacht ik al een paar jaar van ze.

2026 Dat is nog open wie vanaf dan het snelste team zal zijn.
