Tsunoda eert Honda met speciaal helmdesign

Yuki Tsunoda is de enige coureur die dit weekend een thuisrace rijdt. De Japanse AlphaTauri-coureur is populair bij zijn landgenoten en hij wil voor de ogen van zijn fans zo goed mogelijk presteren. Tsunoda doet dat dit weekend met een opvallende helm, het is een eerbetoon aan Honda.

Honda is officieel gezien geen motorleverancier meer van de Red Bull-teams, maar op de achtergrond helpen ze nog wel met de ontwikkeling van de krachtbronnen. Tsunoda is nog steeds verbonden aan Honda en hij rijdt in Suzuka dan ook met een eerbetoon aan het merk. Zijn helmdesign is gebaseerd op de eerste Honda-wagen uit de Formule 1. Tevens is het een verwijzing naar het 75-jarige jubileum van het merk.
