Winnaar Qatarese Grand Prix ontvangt luxueuze trofee

Aankomend weekend staat de Grand Prix van Qatar op het circuit van Losail weer op het programma. De race stond in 2021 voor het eerst op het programma en staat vanaf dit jaar vast op de kalender. Het circuit is flink onder handen genomen en ook voor de winnaarstrofee heeft men flink uitgepakt.

Het circuit van Losail is flink aangepast voor de komst van de Formule 1. Vooral de paddock en het pitgebouw hebben een flinke make-over gekregen. Ook de beker voor de racewinnaar is zeer luxueus. De organisatie heeft namelijk aangeklopt bij het Italiaanse ontwerpbureau Pinifarina. Het bedrijf is geen onbekende in de wereld van de automobiel. De beker moet symbool staan voor de aangepaste baan.
