Sainz ontvangt geen straf na bijna botsing met Verstappen

Carlos Sainz moest zich na afloop van de kwalificatie in Qatar bij de stewards melden voor een opvallend moment. Hij raakte tijdens zijn cool-down lap namelijk bijna de Red Bull van Max Verstappen. Het oogde allemaal wat kolderiek en Sainz heeft dan ook geen straf ontvangen.

Sainz en Verstappen moesten zich bij de stewards melden om het moment te bespreken. De Spanjaard gaf aan dat het voor hem niet handig was als een coureur hem zou inhalen tijdens het rondje, ook omdat hij zich aan de maximale rondetijd wilde houden. Verstappen en de stewards konden zich wel in deze redenatie vinden en daarom heeft men besloten om alleen maar een waarschuwing uit te delen.

Leek me ook niet genoeg voor een straf voor Carlos. Beiden waren bezig met een out-lap.
Het zag er wel vrij knullig uit dus een waarschuwing was op z'n plaats. P12 is al erg genoeg...
