Hamilton denkt niet aan nieuwe race-avonturen

Lewis Hamilton is al sinds 2007 actief in de Formule 1. De Britse coureur pakte sindsdien zeven wereldtitels en sinds 2013 presteert hij zeer sterk in dienst van het team van Mercedes. Hamilton verlengde recent zijn contract, maar hij moet er niet aandenken om daarna in een andere klasse te gaan rijden.

Hamilton staat nu tot en met minimaal 2025 onder contract bij het team van Mercedes. De Brit wil op jacht gaan naar zijn recordbrekende achtste titel. Dit seizoen loopt het echter niet zo lekker bij het team van Mercedes, de achterstand op de concurrentie van Red Bull Racing is zeer groot. Hij is enorm gemotiveerd en hij gaat er dan ook vanuit dat hij in de toekomst weer kan gaan winnen.

In tegenstelling tot zijn concurrenten Fernando Alonso en Max Verstappen heeft Hamilton geen ambitie om ook in een andere klassen te rijden. De zevenvoudig wereldkampioen rijdt liever wat rondjes op superbikes en aan Canal Plus liet hij weten dat hij niet wil rijden in een andere klasse: "Het duurt 10.000 uur voordat je ergens echt de beste in bent. Ik wil die uren veel liever gebruiken om bijvoorbeeld de best mogelijke vader te zijn om of nieuwe bedrijven op te zetten."

      @ ouw-sj.. Zoveel miljoenen heeft Lewis niet om een 3/4 de jongere vrouw als je zelf te huwen. . ) ;) .. een makkie ver Bernie om 750 mil afkoop boete te spenderen... voor dat bedrag gaat zijn juffie normaal 3x van schoppen .. ; )

      Max staat er niet direct, Max is keihard bezig vanaf zijn 4e levensjaar. Net als Lewis met maar één doel: de beste worden in de F1. En dat is ze gelukt. Beide met die 10.000 uur. En wat Lewis bedoelt is: dat doe je maar één keer in je leven.

      Lewis had sowieso moeten stoppen na AD '21. Dan hadden zijn 7 titels en (bij velen) het geloof dat hij in '22 en '23 MB boven RB en Max zou zetten een rotsvaste mythe geworden.
      But now we see: he is just a man (en zeker niet zo consistent als ene Verstappen).
      Bottas 'bewijst' dat de MB een raket was: ondanks zijn v7.0 snor rijdt hij in een andere wagen nog niet eens een deukje in een pakje boter.

      Juist om zijn mythe in stand te houden zou Lewis in andere klassen moeten rijden. Wat dat betreft is Alonso in de Indy ook zijn reality check tegen gekomen.

    Ik neem het niet graag voor hem op.maar geef hem hier gewoon gelijk.die gast heeft 7 wereldtitels.klaar.ga genieten van het leven.en zet hem dan aub bij ziggo neer in sommige races.

      wat we hier zien is ook niet normaal.die lewis en max hebben al bijna meer zeges dan de rest van de afgelopen 10 jaar bij elkaar.dus ´loewie´ bedankt voor de strijd.

      Als deze meneer de waarheid vertelt is Ricciardo de enige optie.
      Yuki is niet constant genoeg en zou de druk niet aan kunnen en Lawson is te jong.

      Dan zou Max misschien Lando wel naast zich willen maar ik denk dat Mclaren hem niet kwijt wil en voor Lando wordt dat ook lastig.
      Want na een paar races moet je je toch in de rol van 2e rijder schikken.
