René Lammers begonnen aan strijd om plekje in Ferrari Academy

In Maranello is het team van Ferrari begonnen met de laatste fase voor de strijd om een plekje in de Ferrari Driver Academy. Zes coureurs maken nog kans op een plekje in de prestigieuze opleidingsploeg, ook de Nederlandse coureur René Lammers is nog een kanshebber.

In de afgelopen weken ging het al veelvuldig over de kansen van Lammers bij Ferrari. Gisteren meldde hij zich samen met vijf andere coureurs in Maranello voor de 'FDA Scouting World Finals'. Vanaf vandaag gaan ze daar strijden om een ticket in de opleidingsploeg van Ferrari. Lammers en zijn concurrenten ondergaan meerdere tests en op vrijdag en zaterdag gaan ze rijden met een Formule 4-wagen. Later zal bekend worden of Lammers wordt geselecteerd of niet.

    Ik wil Rene heel veel succes wensen, is toch een droom die uitkomt voor zo'n manneke.

      Zeker.
      Jammer dat Marco Matassa (zie foto) niet meer bij Toro Rosso/AlphaTauri werkt, want die man was steengoed!
      Hij heeft nu de Ferrari junioren onder zijn hoede, maar ik heb geen idee wat hij precies voor René kan betekenen.

      Hebben we het over de Lammers die in 1979 van De Angelis verloor en zich niet voor die Abba-drummer wist te kwalificeren?
      Zoon Lammers is overigens bij de Ferrari Academy al weer via de achterdeur verdwenen. Dus in dat opzicht is het cirkeltje inderdaad een beetje rond...

    Plan C or D, wat zal ut worden voor Rene. Met Lammers Sr aan ut roer komt ut wel goed. In 2026 doet Rene FP1 op Zandvoort, dat netwerk heeft Sr wel.

    Jan blijft toch nog de populairste F1 coureur van Nederland.
    Zijn zoon surft gewoon mee op zijn achternaam.
    Iets wat Mick nooit zou doen en heeft zelfs weleens de achternaam van zijn moeder gebruikt.
    René is gewoon een naam profiteur.....

      Sarcasme werkt niet altijd bij geschreven teksten...Dus dan moet je veel duidelijker smilies etc erbij zetten.

      Als je wat vaker de berichten van Vittorio Brambilla leest, dan moet wel opvallen dat hij soms erg sarcastisch is. Iemand die de naam Vittorio Brambilla als pseudoniem kiest heeft een dikke streep voor.

      Dit is trouwens leuk nieuws voor nl. Het zegt verder niet al te veel. Veel karters mogen het proberen. Sommigen komen op de academie. En van die gelukkigen, men is dan financieel geborgd, komt een enkeling in de F1 of een klasse die ook zeer betalend kan zijn.

      Maar even afwachten. In Karten was Rene Lammers blijkbaar een goeie.

      Overigens vermoed ik dat Rene Lammers al regelmatig in open wheel auto's heeft gereden op Zandvoort.

      Ik moet niks, want de zender moet zorgen dat het zo duidelijk mogelijk is voor de ontvanger.
      Het woordje 'soms' betekent niet altijd, dus kan ik zonder bepaalde toevoegingen in de tekst niet weten hoe ik het juist kan interpreteren.

" Jan heeft meer dan 1 F1 race gedaan (zal wel slecht italiaans-engels zijn.... once in a time), en hoe René in 2003 al een sterk seizoen kom draaien ........

    Die Jan Lammers bakte er vroeger toch geen ene zak van,hij stond geregeld in de gridbak echt een flut coureur heeft nooit iets betekent,en gaat nou ff uitleggen op TV wat Max het beste kan doen schaam je Lammers.

    Die Kampsie snapt er geen ene reet van Jos heeft het hem geleerd en Max is niet op Jos zijn achternaam naar RB gehaald daar hadden ze de knaken niet voor het was puur het Talent van Max Verstappen dat Helmut Marko in hem zag,en hem naar RB haalde al had Max Shit geheten met zijn achternaam dan had hij nog bij RB gereden
