F1 Academy-kampioene verdient FRECA-zitje

Vorige week werd in Austin het eerste seizoen van de F1 Academy afgesloten. De nieuwe klasse voor vrouwelijke coureurs reed voor het eerste in het voorprogramma van de Formule 1 en Marta Garcia werd de eerste kampioen. Ze heeft voor volgend seizoen een zitje gevonden in een belangrijke opstapklasse.

Het doel van de F1 Academy is om de vrouwelijke coureurs de kans te geven en ze daarna te laten door groeien naar grotere opstapklassen. Garcia gaat dit nu ook doen, want ze heeft haar plannen voor 2024 rond. De Spaanse gaat namelijk in het hoog aangeschreven FRECA-kampioenschap rijden. Ze zal gaan rijden voor het team van PREMA, voor die renstal reed ze ook al in de F1 Academy. Het FRECA-kampioenschap staat hoog aangeschreven en heeft al meerdere grote namen voortgebracht.

    23 jaar en dan nog aan Freca beginnen is wel een vertekend beeld aangezien het een van de vroegste opstapklasse is in het formule 1 circuit, De regerend kampioen is net 17 geworden dat vertelt je al veel over de leeftijd had haar liever in F3 willen zien en kijken of ze dan mee kan komen of het al verloren zaak is, als ze nu op haar bek gaat door een paar 17-18 jarige jochies is het wel gedaan met haar single seater carrière en geeft het F1 academy een hele slechte reputatie meteen.

      Kan me wel bij je aansluiten in het geval van Freca...

      Maar mocht Antonelli volgend jaar kampioen worden in F2 dan is een 18 jarige die 19 tot 24 weg rijdt. Maar t zou dan niet oke zijn om in 2025 iedere 20-22 jarige in F2 dan ook zo te beoordelen.

      Maar Freca is een lage stap op de ladder en t feit dat ze alleen maar naar Freca mag (tussen F3 en F4 in) zegt eigenlijk dat F1 haar ziet als een soort F4 kampioen op 23 jarige leeftijd en dat is idd niet indrukwekkend.

      @ToraTora, de F4 is de eerste opstap klasse in “the road to F1” volgens mij. F4➡️Formula Regional➡️F3➡️F2➡️F1

      Verder geeft het voor mij ook aan hoe belachelijk het is dat de F1 Academy in het voorprogramma van de F1 rijdt als de kampioen “promotie” afdwingt naar de Formula Regional (een klasse niet in het voorprogramma van F1)

      Te ver doorgeslagen met de idioterie van gelijke kansen. Die zijn er niet in het leven, deal with it.

    Waarom moet dit soort dingen altijd maar bij iedereen door de strot geduwd worden? Als er dames zijn die echt zo goed zijn komen ze echt wel bovendrijven
