Hermann Tilke kent geen vrees voor India: "Alles ligt op schema"

Circuitontwerper Hermann Tilke is niet bang dat zijn nieuwste creatie bij Delhi in India niet op tijd klaar is voor de eerste Grand Prix op 30 oktober. De Duitser erkent dat niet alle faciliteiten van het Buddh International Circuit op tijd gereed zullen zijn, maar de baan zelf komt niet in het geding.

Tilke verklaarde in Auto Motor und Sport: Alles ligt op schema. Zo gaat het altijd, elk nieuw circuit is pas vlak voor de eerste race af. Dat is ook in India het geval. Aan te nemen valt wel dat bepaalde elementen van de infrastructuur nog wat werk nodig hebben, maar dat geldt ook voor meerdere locaties. Ik ben zeer tevreden en de resultaten spreken voor zich.
