Alpine vervangt volledige Power Unit in auto Gasly

Het team van Alpine is bezig met een lastig weekend in Brazilië. Zijn ze betrokken bij incidenten, de coureurs liepen op vrijdag tegen een straf aan en dat betekent dat ze een fikse inhaalrace voor de boeg hebben staan. Pierre Gasly start in ieder geval met een verse Power Unit in zijn auto.

Gasly start de Grand Prix op het circuit van Interlagos vandaag vanaf de vijftiende plaats, één plekje achter zijn teamgenoot Esteban Ocon. Alpine heeft laten weten dat ze de volledige Power Unit van Gasly hebben vervangen in aanloop naar de Grand Prix. Gasly krijgt echter geen straf, want Alpine heeft de onderdelen namelijk uit de pool gehaald. Er zijn dus ook geen bepaalde specificaties aangepast, want dan zou er wel een straf volgen.
