FIA stelt right to review-zaak Haas met een dag uit

Het team van Haas maakte afgelopen weekend bekend dat ze een right to review hebben ingediend over de uitslag van de Amerikaanse Grand Prix. De Amerikaanse renstal is van mening dat veel meer coureurs een straf zouden moeten krijgen voor het overschrijden van de track limits. De stewards hebben de zaak nu uitgesteld.

Eigenlijk was het de bedoeling dat de stewards vandaag via een digitale meeting zouden praten met Haas en de teams van Aston Martin, Red Bull Racing en Williams. De laatstgenoemde drie teams moesten zich melden voor een mogelijke overtreding. De stewards maakten eind van de middag bekend de zaak is uitgesteld tot morgenmiddag. De stewards zullen dan oordelen of het bewijs van Haas significante nieuwe informatie bevat. Als de stewards zich kunnen vinden in het bewijs van Haas, kan de uitslag van de Amerikaanse Grand Prix volledig over de kop gaan.
