Bianca racet dit weekend voor het eerst in Macau (tussen de mannen).
Ze is er beretrots op dat McLaren op haar wagen staat. Ze is sinds vorige maand McLaren Development Driver, een droom die voor haar uitkwam.

whatttta euphoric feeling driving onto the Macau Guia Street Circuit for the very first time. Never really knew what narrow and fast meant until today 🙈
Despite the challenge, I improved every single lap yesterday finishing P11 in qualifying out of 23 cars. I definitely had more in me so I feel slightly disappointed not to break inside the top 8, but overall still happy with the continued improvement yesterday.

Top @Pietje, wist wel dat jij met een update zou komen bij het noemen van haar naam..., lol!

Bianca Bustamante set to make Macau Grand Prix Formula 4 debut
(3 november 2023)

Philippines rising star, Bianca Bustamante has confirmed her entry for the 70th Anniversary of the iconic Macau Grand Prix for the non-championship round of the 2023 Formula 4 South East Asia Championship. The 18-year old is set to race for BlackArts Racing at the first weekend of the 2-week long spectacle on the streets of Macau, with the Formula 4 race set to be held from the 11th to 12th of November 2023.
Following a successful season at the inaugural F1 Academy, Bustamante is set to mark her debut at the legendary event and is keen to finish her season on a high. Her #19 Formula 4 car will feature APM Monaco and Anastasia Beverly Hills partnerships along with season-long partner Lance East Exotics.

For Bustamante, this will be her maiden visit to the famous Guia Circuit, which presents unique challenges with its changing elevation, high speeds, and unforgivingly narrow barriers. It is set to be the third time she takes on the challenges of a street circuit in her professional career, following her last visits to the Miami Grand Prix & Singapore Grand Prix.
The 6.1km Macau Guia circuit is known in motorsport to be one of the most difficult street circuits in the world, but also famously known to be a proving ground for emerging F1 talents including the likes of Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, and Max Verstappen to name a few.

The Filipina is confident knowing she will be driving the Tatuus F4-T421 car, one that she is familiar with from her 2023 season.
Bustamante’s focus will be to learn the track quickly, given the limited time on circuit with only 1 practice session, 1 qualifying session, and 2 races.
She previously worked with BlackArts Racing, which is managed by former F1 driver Alex Yoong of Malaysia, having conducted a 2-day test with the team last year at the Sepang Circuit.

Bustamante, who was also recently announced as the newest addition to the McLaren Driver Development Programme, will be looking to end her 2023 season on a high.
Her Macau Grand Prix debut would not have been possible without the support of full season partner Lance East Exotics, as she also welcomes new sponsors, jewelry brand APM Monaco, cosmetic brand Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Azure International as partners for this event.
The Macau Formula 4 Race will be available worldwide via the official website and broadcast to several TV stations around the globe.

Ik heb het bewust kort gehouden anders krijg ik weer het verwijt van een bekend forumlid hier dat ik een pedofiel zou zijn, omdat ik een meisje van 18 leuk vind en volg op IG. Mijn naam werd niet genoemd, maar het werd geïnsinueerd.
Ze is altijd zo bescheiden en dankbaar voor alles. Ze is zich er heel goed van bewust dat ze erg bevoorrecht is dat ze haar droom kan nastreven.

Ik snap niet waar je het over hebt @Vittorio Brambilla. Ze is zevende geworden in een klasse waarvan de winnares amper podiums kon scoren in de W-Series. Die dame barst van het talent! Ow, wacht...

Ja, jullie kunnen er allemaal lichtvoetig over doen,maar als je geilt op een grietje waar je opa van had kunnen zijn dan zit er toch echt een schroefje in je bovenkamer los .
Iedere keer maar die Bianca naar voren halen irriteert mij mateloos.

Na een chaotische kwalificatie race die werd verreden onder zeer natte omstandigheden en veel spray en de nodige rode vlaggen, viel Bianca in de race in de eerste ronde uit, omdat ze in een chaos terechtkwam waar geen ontwijken aan was.

Begrijp alleen niet wat er mis mee is als iets oudere man een jonge sportende vrouw te volgen. Wat is daar anders aan dan een jongeman? (Bijna) Iedereen heeft toch ook Max gevolgd? Of die Moto3 coureur die overigens zijn eerste race gewonnen heeft las ik net.

Noemen* dus, dikke vingers en woordenboek.

Man wat is de wereld toch Woke en ziek tegenwoordig, alles wordt als afwijkend, asociaal en niet normaal gezien.
Denk dat je zelf dan ergens een schroefje in je bovenkamer los hebt zitten, doemdenkers.

Jammer van de kwalificatierace @Pietje, misschien kan ze het trucje van Max herhalen...

F3 - Verstappen recovers to great seventh in tough Macau Grand Prix
Max Verstappen fought through from the back to a fabulously impressive seventh place in his debut Macau Grand Prix.

The 17-year-old Dutchman had started 24th after a Qualifying Race crash put him out of Saturday's ten lapper while lying second.
In Sunday's final, the Red Bull Junior was caught in a multi car accident that forced a red flag and a restart under the safety car. Verstappen's Van Amersfoort Racing team had to repair the car that had been hit from behind and he was able to make a superb climb through the field even though the car was not working perfectly due to residual damage.

Sensational drive
“It was a lot of fun today,” enthused Vestappen. “It was obvious that coming from 24th it was just a case of doing the best we could. There was a huge accident in the first lap that started with the leaders blocking the road and as we all stopped I got hit from behind. The red flag gave the guys a chance to repair the car but they couldn't completely rebuild it.
Unfortunately it was restarted under the safety car so I didn't have the chance to pass anyone off the line as I had done in the first start and the qualifying race. Once we went green I was passing people and having fun but the car floor was damaged and the car wasn't quite right, by the end one tyre was completely gone so something wasn't straight and the drive shaft was leaking oil. Still it got us home and seventh wasn't too bad considering where we started.”

Verstappen finished the race pressuring Stefano Coletti for sixth and said he had a wonderful time at the uniquer event.
“The result wasn't what we came for but as always I learnt a lot and it really is a very special place, a fantastic experience,” he concluded.

A hard start to the event
It is so often said that the Macau Grand Prix chooses its own winner and it certainly looked as though Verstappen and his FIA Formula 3 European Championship rival Esteban Ocon were not finding favour as both received a 2 place Qualifying Race grid penalty at the end of the first free qualifying session on Thursday morning.
Their crime was driving through a red light, resulting in them missing the weigh-in with scrutineering during the session.
Verstappen otherwise would have lined up third for the Qualifying Race after being third quickest in the second qualifying session on Friday afternoon and overall. He had been sixth fastest the day before.
Macau veteran Felix Rosenqvist took pole in his fifth visit to the ex Portuguese colony and would go on to win the Grand Prix.

Playing to win
Verstappen made a nonsense of his grid position with a blinding start in the Qualifying Race and followed Lucas Auer as he passed Rosenqvist for the lead at the first corner. Rosenqvist held third and put Verstappen under huge pressure until he flat-spotted a tyre and Verstappen upped his pace and got away.

“I had a great start but after that I struggled in the second sector. We'd probably ran with tyre pressures a bit too low”, explained Verstappen.
“After a couple of laps, I started to find my rhythm but as I braked into the fast right hander up the hill, I locked the rear of the car which meant I missed the corner's apex.”
“My rear wheel hit a tyre barrier which cause the tyre to be knocked off the rim. It wasn’t really a hard hit but my front left wheel touching the barriers finished me off”, explained Verstappen in typically honest fashion.

Ik heb Max tijdens het karten al gevolgd. Hij werd door zijn vader opgeleid.
Bianca is ook door haar vader opgeleid in het karten. Was mooi om te volgen.
Nu volg ik de jonge Robin Räikkönen. Heeft waanzinnige veel aanleg om een goede coureur te worden. Wordt ook door zijn vader opgeleid.
Juju Noda heb ik ook altijd met heel veel interesse gevolgd. Ze is nu nog
maar 17 jaar.
Ook Daniil Kvyat heb ik van jongs af aan gevolgd en nog steeds.
Altijd mooi om te zien of het aanwezige talent er uit komt of niet.

Ik hoor Kimi aan het prille begin van Robins loopbaan nog zo zeggen dat hij terughoudend zou zijn richting zijn zoon, kennelijk is daar niet veel van terecht gekomen, veri hiipii minne se ei pääse...

Terughoudend, hahaha. Ze hebben onlangs zelfs een woning in Italië gekocht zodat ze dichter bij de kartbanen wonen waar ze vaak te vinden zijn.

I’d be lying if I said Macau didn’t break my heart. From practice to race 1, I drove my heart out, improved every single lap even tho the first few laps scared me to death.

P11 in qualifying and a clean drive in a wet Race 1 moved us up to P9 for the final. We worked extra hard today to go over onboards and data improving my technique to close down the gap. But yea on lap 1 a driver out braked themselves, flew past me and hit the wall in Lisboa, giving me absolutely no room to go which caused me to DNF🥺.

For hours I was replaying how it all happened thinking of any other way I could’ve avoided it🥺 but it was just unavoidable. I gave it my best fight for a top 8 but this one was out of our control…

Not what we deserved, especially when the team put in such a great effort. Thank you Macau for teaching me to be patient to not rush into things that takes time and experience. You were a tough lesson.

We’ll fight back as always!! A P9 in race one was major improvement, and we gotta take that as a win to keep progressing🫶
