Shwartzman rijdt eerste vrije training voor Ferrari in Abu Dhabi

Ook het team van Ferrari zet aankomend weekend in Abu Dhabi een rookie in tijdens de eerste vrije training. Het is voor niemand een verrassing, maar er was nog geen bevestiging gekomen vanuit Ferrari. Het team heeft nu bevestigd dat Robert Shwartzman zal gaan rijden op het circuit van Yas Marina.

Het is geen verrassing dat Shwartzman plaatsneemt in de SF-23. De Russische Israëliër is verbonden aan Ferrari als reservecoureur en in Zandvoort reed hij ook al een training. Aangezien het team nog één keer een rookie in moest zetten, was het ieders verwachting dat Shwartzman zou gaan rijden in Abu Dhabi. Ferrari heeft dit vandaag bevestigd en dat betekent dat het halve veld in VT1 in Abu Dhabi zal gaan bestaan uit rookies.
