Mercedes trekt grote nieuwe sponsor aan voor 2024

Het team van Mercedes heeft een nieuwe sponsor aangetrokken voor het aankomende Formule 1-seizoen. De Duitse renstal heeft het zwaar op sportief gebied, maar nu scoren ze dus wel op zakelijk vlak. Ze gaan een partnership aan met het bedrijfssoftware-bedrijf SAP.

In een persbericht maken Mercedes en SAP bekend dat ze een meerderjarige overeenkomst hebben gesloten die aankomend jaar in gaat. Vanaf 2024 gaan ze samenwerken om ze efficiënt mogelijk te opereren en om nieuwe inzichten uit de data te halen. Ze hopen hiermee stappen te kunnen zetten. SAP wordt een officiële partner van het team van Mercedes, maar het is nog niet duidelijk of de logo's van het bedrijf ook op de wagens van Lewis Hamilton en George Russell te komen staan.

    Aangezien Toto geen Wikipedia leest en dit dus niet had kunnen weten plaats ik het even. Misschien dat hij nog onder de deal uit kan;

    SAP wordt ook weleens ‘System Against People’ genoemd. Omdat het vaak door zijn enorme omvang nogal traag werkt, staat het onder de eigen consultants en programmeurs bekend als 'Sandläufer Anschau Programm'. Sommigen spreken ook wel van 'Stetts Andere Probleme'.

    Nu maar hopen dat het niet stetts toto andere probleme leidt!

      Dat zijn opmerkingen van 20 jaar terug. mbt SAP .... (ben een SAP Consultant 😉). Heb niets met Mercedes, vond het zelf jammer dat ze de sponsoring / ondersteuning van McLaren gestopt hebben na 2020 (vanaf 1997)

      Is ook maar een geintje natuurlijk maar aangezien het op Wiki staat moest hij gemaakt worden anders kon ik niet langer met mijzelf leven.

      Als ik SAP lees lopen de rillingen over mijn rug. Die maken van een flexibel bedrijf een administratieve moloch. Kan me niet voorstellen dat een bedrijf als een F1 team SAP gaat implementeren.

      Voor iemand (Rimmer) die een ‘hekel’ heeft aan Mercedes/Wolff/Hamilton vind ik diegene opvallend vaak reageren op artikelen met één van deze spelers. Een soort zelfkastijding. Mocht Rimmer een ex hebben, waar die zeer waarschijnlijk dan ook een hekel aan heeft, kan ik me voorstellen dat hij die iedere dag opzoekt om even de clown uit te hangen.

    Wat heeft deze deal trouwens als impact op McLaren, die hadden op heden toch een deal met elkaar.
