DRS-zone bevindt zich in Suzuka op rechte stuk van start en finish

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft de details voor de DRS-zone voor de Japanse Grand Prix bekend gemaakt. Het Drag Reduction System, oftewel de beweegbare achtervleugel, is op Suzuka maar in één gebied activeerbaar in de race.

De DRS-zone begint 30 meter na bocht 18 en loopt zo over het rechte stuk van start en finish. Het meetpunt om te bepalen of coureurs dicht genoeg achter de auto voor hen rijden ligt 70 meter na bocht 15, de befaamde 130R.
