Red Bull wint voor zesde jaar op rij speciale pitstopprijs

Het team van Red Bull Racing heeft een extreem succesvol seizoen achter de rug. De Oostenrijkse renstal werd wereldkampioen met Max Verstappen en ze werden zelf ook constructeurskampioen. Red Bull heeft nog een prijs gewonnen, want ook bij de pitstops waren ze zeer dominant.

De Formule 1 houdt al een aantal jaar een klassement bij voor de pitstops. De teams die de pitstops het snelst verrichten, komen bovendrijven in dit kampioenschap. Het team van McLaren verrichte dit jaar de snelste pitstop, maar Red Bull won het klassement. Jonathan Wheatley nam de prijs namens Red Bull in ontvangst. Het is het zesde seizoen op rij waarin Red Bull deze prijs heeft gewonnen.

Pitstops zijn voor elk team gewoon heel makkelijk trainbaar, dus als je als RRBR zijnde deze prijs voor de 6e keer op rij wint onderstreep je nogmaals dat je een topteam bent die nycks aan het toeval overlaat.
