McLaren test nieuwe racepakken uit tijdens post season test

Gisteren werd op het circuit van Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi de zogenaamde post season test afgewerkt. Voor de laatste keer kregen de coureurs de kans om meters te maken en er kom voor het eerst worden geëxperimenteerd met nieuwe materiaal. Ook bij het team van McLaren was dit het geval.

Oscar Piastri werkte namens het team de bandentest af in Abu Dhabi. Op foto's die tijdens de testdag werden gemaakt is te zien dat hij de test afwerkte in een racepak zonder sponsorlogo's. Het is opvallend aangezien dit tijdens de Grand Prix van afgelopen weekend nog niet het geval was. Hij testte tijdens de testdag een overall van kledingmerk alpinestars. De deal met de huidige kledingpartner Sparco eindigt eind dit jaar, dus het lijkt er op dat McLaren een nieuwe deal heeft gesloten.
