Massa gaat deelnemen aan 24 uur van Daytona

Felipe Massa gaat weer deelnemen aan een grote race. De Braziliaanse voormalig Formule 1-coureur heeft namelijk bekend gemaakt dat hij zijn debuut gaat maken in een endurancerace. Massa zal in januari gaan deelnemen aan de iconische 24 uur van Daytona.

Massa maakte op sociale media bekend dat hij op 27 januari deelneemt aan de 24 uur van Daytona. Hij zal plaatsnemen achter het stuur van een LMP2-bolide van het team van Riley Motorsport. Hij zal de Oreca-bolide delen met zijn landgenoot Felipe Fraga, Josh Burdon en Gar Robinson. Het is een opmerkelijke move van Massa, want in de afgelopen tijd kwam hij vooral in het nieuws met zijn rechtszaak tegen de FIA en de Formule 1 over de wereldtitel van 2008.
