Famin wil nog niet gaan zoeken naar nieuwe Alpine-teambaas

Het team van Alpine kende dit jaar een lastig seizoen in de Formule 1. Vooral bij de leiding van het team was er veel aan de hand en werden er veel mensen ontslagen. Bruno Famin fungeert sinds de zomer als interim teambaas en hij zit er niet op te wachten om een nieuwe teambaas aan te stellen.

Alpine scoorde dit jaar twee podiumplekken, maar verder zaten ze vooral vast in het middenveld. Het was tevens een onrustig seizoen omdat er veel mensen werden ontslagen. Tijdens het raceweekend in België werden teambaas Otmar Szafnauer en sportief directeur Alan Permane ontslagen door de top van Alpine. Sindsdien is Bruno Famin de interim teambaas, de ervaren Fransman was vlak daarvoor aangesteld als de vicepresident van Alpine Motorsports.

Famin zou ook opzoek moeten gaan naar een nieuwe teambaas, maar hij denkt daar zelf anders over. De Fransman legt dit uit bij Motorsport.com: "Ik ben geen groot voorstander van veranderingen doorvoeren binnen de organisatie, puur om maar wat te veranderen. Als je de organisatie kunt veranderen zoals jij dat wil, zo vaak je maar wil, omdat de mensen niet willen samenwerken, zal het nooit werken. Het gaat er dan mee om dat je een manier vindt om de mensen goed samen te laten werken, om uit iedereen het beste te halen. Ik ben tevreden met mijn positie en zolang mijn baas niet zegt dat het moet veranderen, blijf ik."

Hahahaha, net als je denkt dat het niet amateuristischer en slechter kan laten ze bij Renault zien dat er nog heel veel levels onder die van amateur zitten. Heerlijk.
Goed nieuws ook voor de kleinere teams die volgend jaar wellicht een fabrieksteam kunnen verslaan.

Hahahaha, net als je denkt dat het niet amateuristischer en slechter kan laten ze bij Renault zien dat er nog heel veel levels onder die van amateur zitten. Heerlijk.
Goed nieuws ook voor de kleinere teams die volgend jaar wellicht een fabrieksteam kunnen verslaan.
Slecht nieuws daarentegen voor Gasly en Ocon die na een seizoen vol opgeblazen motoren en niet werkende updates nu een hele winter vooruit mogen kijken naar een nog veel slechtere auto.
En allemaal omdat een incapabele interim baas zijn macht niet af wil staan.
Inmiddels verlangen ze daar weer terug naar het clowns duo Cyril & Alain die, zo blijkt nu, met minder dan niks jarenlang wonderen verricht moeten hebben.

  Daar lijkt het wel op, inderdaad.
  
  Op deze wijze lijkt het me lastig om zowel de afdeling Motorsport la het F1 team goed te managen.
  Of zijn ego is te groot en hij overschat zichzelf of hij onderschat wat nodig is om alles goed te managen.
  Maar ik zou er niet gerust op zijn als ik zijn manager was. Aan de andere kant: dit is een beetje de Franse manier van werken, dus niks nieuws.

Ergens is het gewoon beschamend.
Renault of Alpine zo je wilt moet toch elke race kunnen strijden voor een plek in de top 6 maar toch zeker een top 10 notering een zekerheidje moet zijn.

Doek het hele team maar op strik eromheen en verpatsen.
