Ralf Schumacher ziet overbelaste coureurs door overvolle kalender

De overvolle Formule 1-kalender zorgde dit jaar al voor veel kritiek. In 2024 krijgen de teams en coureurs het nog drukker, want dan staan er nog meer raceweekenden op de planning. Veel coureurs zijn kritisch en ook Ralf Schumacher hoopt dat er snel over de zaak wordt gesproken.

Afgelopen seizoen stonden er 22 Grands Prix op de kalender. Het was een druk jaar voor de coureurs en dat zorgde voor fysieke problemen bij de coureurs en de teammedewerkers. Vooral in Las Vegas werd duidelijk dat de planning veel te druk was, coureurs waren hun tijdsbesef volledig kwijt en George Russell en Esteban Ocon waren dan ook ziek in Abu Dhabi. Meerdere coureurs hebben dan ook hun zorgen al uitgesproken.

Overbelast

De coureurs krijgen nu steun van Ralf Schumacher. De Duitse oud-coureur is van mening dat de hoge heren van de sport veel te ver gaan. In gesprek met Formel1.de is Schumacher duidelijk: "Ik hoop dat erover gesproken gaat worden, want ik geloof niet dat dit goed is. Ik geloof dat het simpelweg te veel is. Ik geloof dat de coureurs ook overbelast zijn geraakt door de situatie, net als de monteurs."

Domenicali

Schumacher doet dan ook een oproep aan Formule 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali. De Duitser hoopt dat Domenicali begrijpt waarom de coureurs, de teams en kenners zich momenteel grote zorgen maken: "Ik hoop dat het ook naar boven doordringt. Stefano kent nagenoeg alles in de Formule 1, want hij is groot geworden in de autosport. Ik hoop dat hij een oplossing kan vinden en dat hij de mogelijkheden ziet die er zijn."

Dan moeten ze eerst eens fatsoenlijk vreten op tafel zetten in plaats van dat vega-gedoe en crackers.
Bruinebonen met vet uitgebakken spek motte ze vreten.....of goeie vette friet. Maar ja, ze mogen niet aankomen hè.

22 grands prix is ook bezopen. Het haalt de exclusiviteit bij de F1 weg en het is krankzinnig om 22 weekenden dit hele circus over de aardbol te sleuren. Is voor niemand goed en ook niet duurzaam waar de FIA de mond vol van heeft.

  twintig is zat. Nooit gedacht dat ik qua races ooit verzadigd zou raken, maar dat punt is echt wel bereikt. Maar ja de organisatoren raken qua geld verdienen nu eenmaal nooit verzadigd....liefst zouden ze 52 race weekenden willen.
