Ambitieuze Brown verwelkomt nieuwe technische kopstukken

Het team van McLaren wil dit jaar de aanval gaan openen op de concurrentie. De Britse renstal sloot 2023 met een goed gevoel af en aankomend seizoen willen ze stappen gaan zetten. Daarvoor hebben ze een aantal nieuwe namen aangetrokken en CEO Zak Brown barst van de ambities.

Het is al geruime tijd bekend dat het team van McLaren de technische top van het team heeft verbeterd. Rob Marshall en David Sanchez kwamen over van Red Bull Racing en Ferrari. Aangezien ze eerst met gardening leave moesten gaan, zijn ze pas begin deze maand van start gegaan. CEO Zak Brown barst van de ambities en op sociale media deelt hij een krachtig bericht waarin hij Marshall en Sanchez verwelkomt. Ook teambaas Andrea Stella, Neil Houdley en het derde technische kopstuk Peter Prodromou staan op Browns foto.
