FIA onthult starttijden voor races 2024

Autosportfederatie FIA heeft de startdata voor de races in het aankomende seizoen bekend gemaakt. Ze hebben zojuist de tijden gedeeld met de rest van de wereld. Er zijn weinig opvallende zaken, al zijn de starttijden van de sprintsessies en de eerste sessies in Las Vegas nog niet bekend gemaakt.

Het seizoen wordt afgetrapt in Bahrein en Saoedi-Arabië. Bij deze eerste twee raceweekenden wordt er geracet op de zaterdag, in beide gevallen wordt er gereden in de avonduren. In Europa is het dan nog net middag. De Nederlandse Grand Prix wordt op 25 augustus verreden en gaan de race van start om 15:00. De sessies in Las Vegas vonden vorig jaar in de late uurtjes plaats en dat zorgde voor kritiek, de FIA heeft dan ook nog geen beslissing genomen over de starttijden van de trainingen en de kwalificatie.
