Bestuurder overleden bij tragisch ongeval op circuit Miami

Op het Formule 1-circuit van Miami heeft een tragisch ongeval plaatsgevonden. Een bestuurder is om het leven gekomen nadat hij met zijn auto van de weg raakte en daardoor terechtkwam op een gedeelte dat wordt gebruikt voor het Grand Prix-circuit, zo is te zien op beelden.

Eerder deze week is een bestuurder om het leven gekomen nadat hij van de snelweg was geraakt. Hij viel van de fly-over af en hij belandde op het asfalt van het Formule 1-circuit ter hoogte van bocht 16. Aangezien het hier om een circuit gaat dat niet permanent in gebruik is, waren er op dat moment geen auto's aanwezig op het circuit. De bestuurder overleefde het tragische ongeval niet, zo meldt de lokale politie.
