FIA trekt nieuw kopstuk aan voor speciale controles

De FIA heeft in de afgelopen maanden afscheid genomen van veel belangrijke namen. Meerdere kopstukken vertrokken bij de autosportfederatie, maar dat betekent niet dat niemand meer voor ze wil werken. De FIA heeft nu een voormalig McLaren-werknemer aangesteld voor een bijzondere rol.

Bij de FIA vertrokken in de afgelopen maanden veel grote namen waaronder Steve Nielsen en Tim Goss. Dat betekent niet dat ze geen mensen meer kunnen vinden, want Marianne Hinson gaat nu een belangrijke rol vervullen voor de FIA. Men wil er immers alles aan gaan doen om ervoor te zorgen dat de teams zich aan de regels houden. Hinson zal zich gaan focussen op deze zaak.

Hinson heeft al veel ervaring in de Formule 1. Ze werkte zo'n 25 jaar in de autosport en ze werkte voor de teams van Jordan, Toyota, Force India, Caterham en in de afgelopen tien jaar voor McLaren. Voor de FIA zal ze de teams nu gaan controleren op allerlei zaken. Ze zal onaangekondigd bezoekjes gaan brengen aan de fabrieken om de ontwerpen te inspecteren en om te zien of iedereen zich wel aan de voorschriften en de technische reglementen houdt. Dit betekent dus ook dat ze gaan kijken naar het gebruik van de windtunnel.

Daar twijfel ik ook niet aan, 5 minuten bezig houden aan de portiersloge en alles is onder het tapijt verdwenen. Het is nog altijd beter wat ze nu deden, op voorhand bellen om te melden dat ze die dag langs komen.

    Nieuwe munitie voor de complotdenkers hier, als Mclaren dit jaar race's wint zal het wel zij zijn die info heeft gedeeld van andere team's aan Zak Brown.

      @Gridiron; dat zal wel loslopen. Ik vind het vrij naïef om te denken dat als teams iets te verbergen hebben dit aan het licht zal komen tijdens een onaangekondigd bezoekje van madam. Intentie is goed hoor, maar dit kan toch nooit werken?
