Stake verdwenen van Sauber-site na onderzoek

Het team van Sauber heeft mogelijk al een flink probleem voordat het seizoen is begonnen. De Zwitserse renstal staat dit jaar op de grid onder de naam Stake F1 Team, maar vanwege regels omtrent gokregels heet het team in sommige raceweekenden anders. Zwitserse regelgeving zorgt nu mogelijk voor meer moeilijkheden.

Deze ochtend werd duidelijk dat de Zwitserse kansspelautoriteit onderzoekt of Sauber mogelijk de gokregels overtreedt met de naam Stake F1 Team. Stake is immers een platform waar ook op kan worden gegokt. Daarom zal het team tijdens een aantal raceweekenden racen onder de naam Kick F1 Team. Het onderzoek in Zwitserland lijkt nu wel gevolgen te hebben, want de naam Stake is verdwenen van de Sauber-site. Het in sponsors gespecialiseerde platform meldt dat de naam is verdwenen. De Stake-logo's staan niet meer op de partnerlijst. Eerder werd er hier ook gesproken over 'Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber' en nu alleen nog over 'Sauber Motorsport'.

Het platform dat het nieuws als eerste meldde, kwam later met een correctie. Volgens hen was het zo dat Sauber de site heeft aangepast en dat de verwijzingen naar Stake daardoor waren verdwenen. Volgens het team heeft dit dan ook niets te maken met de mogelijke juridische procedure in Zwitserland.

De wetgeving rond het wel of niet mogen adverteren van dit soort bedrijven is echt een lachertje. Elk land heeft haar eigen wetgeving. Wordt tijd dat dit gereguleerd gaat worden op Europees niveau. De wetgeving rond het wel of niet mogen adverteren van dit soort bedrijven is echt een lachertje. Elk land heeft haar eigen wetgeving. Wordt tijd dat dit gereguleerd gaat worden op Europees niveau. Want in Engeland mogen de commentatoren bij de BBC (voor de samenvattingen) Stake F1 niet eens bij de teamnaam noemen. Terwijl er tig online sportwedkantoren het Engelse voetbal sponsoren. Stake sponsort zelfs Everton en dat mag dan wel.

Ook wel een leuke farce van Sauber zelf dat ze niet beseft hebben dat zij niet eens de naamgeving in eigen land mogen voeren.

  Volgens mij is er een europese richtlijn (en dus geen concrete wetgeving), maar zijn er altijd landen die proberen hier een voordeel uit te halen... cyprus, malta zijn 2 mooie voorbeelden hiervan.
  
  Het is vooral erg kwalijk van Sauber, die wist dat het gevoelig was (door tijdens bepaalde gps de sponsoring eraf te moeten halen), toch nog de hele teamnaam verkoopt aan dit bedrijf.

Op zich boeit dit totaal niet. Stake is het bedrijf achter Kick. Als Stake niet mag, dan promoten ze het wel alleen met Kick. Al is daar ook gokken op te vinden.

Zou wel jammer zijn dat ze dan misschien ook van livery veranderen..... Ik verwacht dat deze livery de meest bijzondere en spectaculaire zal zijn van dit seizoen.... De rest zal toch wel weer beetje van hetzelfde blijven.... Als ben ik nog wel benieuwd naar de Visas...
