Famin blijft aan als teambaas van Alpine

Het team van Alpine trok vandaag het doek van de nieuwe A524. De overwegend zwarte wagen met blauwe accenten werd tijdens een uitgebreide launch aan de wereld getoond. Ook Bruno Famin was aanwezig bij de launch, Alpine heeft bekend gemaakt dat hij aanblijft als teambaas.

Alpine stuurde vorig jaar teambaas Otmar Szafnauer de laan uit en ze wezen Famin aan als de interim teambaas. Famin werkt sinds 2022 voor de Franse renstal en vervulde meerdere functies binnen het team. Na het ontslag van Szafnauer werd hij aangesteld als teambaas. Hij zocht naar een mogelijke opvolger, maar bij de Franse renstal heeft men besloten dat hij gewoon mag aanblijven. Dat betekent dat Famin ook aankomend seizoen gewoon op de pitmuur zal zitten.
