Haas maakt eerste meters tijdens shakedown

Het nieuwe seizoen staat op het punt van beginnen. Veel teams zijn bezig met de laatste voorbereidingen op de nieuwe jaargang van de Formule 1. Het team van Haas heeft nu een belangrijke stap gezet, ze zijn de baan opgegaan met hun nieuwe VF24.

Het team van Haas voerde gisteren op het circuit van Silverstone hun eerste shakedown van het jaar uit. Alle teams mogen een beperkt aantal kilometers rijden met hun huidige auto buiten de raceweekenden en testdagen om. Nico Hülkenberg kreeg de eer om voor het eerst met de VF24 de baan te betreden. Ze zijn hiermee het tweede team dat de shakedown uitvoert, want op zaterdag deed het team van Sauber hetzelfde op het circuit van Barcelona.

eerste meters gingen redelijk goed! Daarna waren de banden aan gort en kakte de snelheid volledig in, nog maar net genoeg vaart om terug de pit in te komen
