Russell maakt eerste meters in gloednieuwe W15

Het team van Mercedes presenteerde vandaag hun nieuwe wagen voor het aankomende seizoen. De Duitse renstal trok op het circuit van Silverstone het doek van de nieuwe W15. Ze zijn niet voor niets afgereisd naar Silverstone, want ze zijn direct de baan opgegaan.

Mercedes is niet het enige team dat vandaag meters maakt op Silverstone. Ook het team van McLaren is aanwezig, maar de twee teams zullen elkaar zoveel mogelijk gaan vermijden. Mercedes heeft vandaag de shakedown uitgevoerd, ze delen zelf de beelden van de eerste meters van de W15. George Russell kreeg de eer om plaats te nemen in de cockpit van de auto, het is niet duidelijk of Lewis Hamilton ook nog gaat rijden.
