Sauber versterkt aerodynamische afdeling met Nederlander Toet

Willem Toet keert per 14 november terug bij het team van Sauber. De Nederlander gaat de rol van hoofd aerodynamica bekleden. Dat deed hij eerder van 2006 tot en met 2009, maar hij vertrok uit Hinwil toen BMW uit de Formule 1 stapte.

Toet was eerder werkzaam voor Toleman/Benetton, Ferrari en BAR. Hij vervangt Seamus Mullarkey, die op eigen verzoek een meer technische functie krijgt. De Brit is na de komst van Toet verantwoordelijk voor aerodynamisch onderzoek.
