Video: Eerste impressie van lay-out stratencircuit New Jersey

Een langgekoesterde wens van Bernie Ecclestone gaat in 2013 in vervulling met een Formule 1-race met de skyline van New York als achtergrond. Op een stratencircuit in New Jersey vindt over twee jaar een Grand Prix plaats. Een creatief persoon heeft een virtueel rondje van de beoogde baan in elkaar gedraaid en die beelden vrijgegeven. Hieronder de beelden.

    Een rondje rfactor zo te zien :O! Ik simrace ook met die simulatie game in wcsleague.com .

    OT: Ziet er best leuk uit, vooral die langzame chicane na het rechte stuk ziet er spannend uit! Erg stoer dat de vangrail dicht langs de kant staat met zulke snelheden :).

      Het ziet er gewoon dodelijk saai uit om te rijden, inhalen lijkt me hier ook onmogelijk... het enige mooie aan het circuit is het uitzicht op New York

      Maar, dit is mijn mening na het zien van beelden op Rfactor.. zojuist wat meer filmpjes gezien van Rfactor, en bijna elk circuit is saai op Rfactor :P

    Dit valt wel mee toen ik de circuit layout zag dacht ik er anders over maar met die New york skyline en die bomen ziet het er wel goed uit.

    Lol, rFactor en FSone09 mod. En mensen, let niet op deze baan. Het is voor 99% zeker dat dit weer van een amateuristische track maker komt die als eerste deze track uit wilde brengen.

    Dit is teminste nog een aardig snel stratencircuit waar inhalen dus eerder mogelijk is dan op Monaco bvb. Dat stukje tussen 44sec en 50sec vind ik vet, met hoge snelheid beetje slalommen. Maar volgens mij zijn die bochten scherper dan ze in werkelijk worden, want anders lijkt het me een beetje gevaarlijk. Bij 48sec bvb knal je frontaal op die railing zowat als je daar zou crashen.
