Kimi Raikkonen brengt eerste bezoek aan Renault-fabriek

Kimi Raikkonen heeft gisteren voor het eerst de fabriek van Lotus Renault GP bezocht. In de fabriek in Enstone ontmoette de Fin teameigenaar Gerard Lopez van Genii Capital en konden de medewerkers van het team kennismaken met de wereldkampioen van 2007.

"Dit was mijn eerste bezoek aan Enstone en het was goed om de fabriek te zien. Ik heb er een goed gevoel bij en ik voel me er erg op m'n gemak", vertelde Raikkonen. Over de reacties die zijn comeback wereldwijd teweeg heeft gebracht, zei de Fin: "Ik voel daardoor niet meer druk. Ik zal altijd mijn best doen en we zien wel hoe het loopt."

    Man wat was ik niet rouwend om het vertrek van Kimi, maar wat ik ben ik HAPPY dat hij terugkeert. En al helemaal in de middenmoot kunnen we van Kimi gaan genieten die moet 2012 een heel seizoen vechten voor wat ie waard is. Er is zoveel veranderd zoveel vaker word er ingehaald daar komt de echte Kimi te voorschijn uit de begin jaren van Mclaren *I hope*.

    Mooi fabriek hebben ze en veel ambities, maarja dit jaar was echt heel ondermaats. Ze horen op het niveau van MercedesGP, net achter de top. Denk dat dat ook wel weer haalbaar zal zijn voor ze in 2012. EDIT: Kijk dit filmpje trouwens, geniaal!:
