Red Bull Racing vermaakt 60.000 fans met demo in Milton Keynes

Sebastian Vettel en Mark Webber hebben gisteren in Milton Keynes zo'n 60.000 fans getrakteerd op enkele demonstraties. Dit was georganiseerd door Red Bull Racing ter ere van het winnen van beide kampioenschappen in de Formule 1. Daarnaast kwam David Coulthard in actie met een NASCAR-bolide en was ook stuntrijder Chris Pfeiffer aanwezig.

"Het is geweldig om hier in Milton Keynes te zijn waar iedereen werkt en onze auto's worden gebouwd", vertelde Vettel na afloop van zijn demo. "Hiermee kunnen we iedereen bedanken en het is mooi om te zien hoeveel mensen uit de omgeving hierop afkomen. Ik had het ook naar mijn zin. Ik heb enkele donuts gedraaid en we hebben een mooie show neergezet."

Mark Webber voegde daar aan toe: "Het was iets speciaals om met de auto voor de fans in Milton Keynes te rijden. De locatie lag vlakbij de fabriek en ik woon er ook dicht in de buurt, dus het is leuk om iets terug te doen voor de lokale bevolking. De rotondes waar ik normaal met mijn eigen auto overheen rij, deed ik nu met een Formule 1-auto. Het is een mooi gebaar dat we alle fans hebben kunnen bedanken."
