Paul Ricard biedt plek aan 70.000 toeschouwers bij Grand Prix

Als Frankrijk in 2013 terugkeert op de Formule 1-kalender met Paul Ricard als gastheer voor de race, dan kunnen 70.000 tot 80.000 toeschouwers terecht langs de Franse baan. Dat claimt circuitdirecteur Stephane Clair in gesprek met persbureau AFP.

Het zou een geweldig evenement voor ons zijn om mensen te verbinden via aantrekkelijke prijzen, met dank aan steun van publieke en private partners. Naast de 50.000 zitplaatsen is in de heuvels ook plek voor 20.000 tot 30.000 fans. Voor het einde van het eerste kwart van 2012 hebben we een officieel jawoord nodig, om alles goed te kunnen plannen, vergunningen aan te vragen en te voldoen aan alle eisen, aldus Clair.
