Het team van Ferrari heeft in Madonna di Campiglio in de Italiaanse Alpen het startschot gegeven voor het autosportjaar 2012. De Scuderia wordt bij het jaarlijkse winterevenement ter opening van het jaar vergezeld door MotoGP-team Ducati.

Fernando Alonso en Felipe Massa gaven acte de présence bij de opening, evenals motorcoureurs Valentino Rossi en Nicky Hayden. De komende dagen zullen de rijders en teamleiding diverse interviews geven. Phillip Morris International, sponsor van zowel Ferrari als Ducati, is de drijfveer achter het media-evenement.
