HRT F1 Team verhuist hoofdkwartier definitief naar Madrid

HRT-CEO Saul Ruiz de Marcos heeft bevestigd dat het team haar hoofdkwartier zal verhuizen naar Madrid. Het team, momenteel gevestigd in Valencia, is met Madrid's Caja Magica overeengekomen dat het 11.000 vierkante meter kan gebruiken. Dit is hetzelfde complex dat ook jaarlijks wordt gebruikt voor de ATP Masters Series in het tennis.

"Het is van groot belang dat we een hoofdkwartier hebben waar het gehele team gevestigd kan worden. Ook is deze ligging op het gebied van transport en logistiek een stuk beter", vertelde De Marcos. "We hebben de laatste maanden veel opties bekeken en ze tegen elkaar afgewogen met voors en tegens. Hiermee komen we ook dichterbij het publiek."
