FIA publiceert details voor twee DRS-zones in Melbourne

Het circuit van Albert Park in Melbourne is zondag gastheer voor de openingsrace van het seizoen 2012, de Grand Prix van Australië. De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft voor die wedstrijd meteen twee DRS-zones in het leven geroepen.

Het enige detectiepunt bevindt zich dertien meter voor bocht 14. Het eerste gebied waarin de beweegbare achtervleugel te activeren is, begint 795 meter voor bocht 1. De tweede DRS-zone is 510 meter lang op weg naar bocht 3.
