Lom sinds dit jaar in dienst bij FIA als Hoofd Aandrijving

Fabrice Lom, voormalig hoofdengineer in het klantenmotorenprogramma van Renault, is overgestapt naar de internationale autosportbond FIA. De federatie bevestigde tegenover Autosport dat de Fransman tegenwoordig bij hen werkzaam is als Hoofd Aandrijving.

Lom was als assistent namens Renault nauw betrokken bij de wereldtitels van Red Bull Racing in 2010 en 2011. Hij werkt bij de FIA samen met Bernard Niclot, die leiding geeft aan de motorenafdeling na een herstructurering na het vertrek van Gilles Simon, die zich bij het nieuwe project PURE van Craig Pollock aansloot.
