Jenson Button kruipt dit weekend in DTM-auto van Mercedes

McLaren-coureur Jenson Button zal komend weekend op Brands Hatch in de DTM taxi-versie van Mercedes plaats nemen. McLaren-reserverijder en DTM-lijstaanvoerder Gary Paffet gaat als intructeur mee met de wereldkampioen Formule 1 van 2009. Button participeert verder aan handtekeningensessies en beantwoordt vragen van de fans.

"Brands Hatch is een van de circuits waar ik als jonge jongen mijn tanden in probeerde te zetten en ik bewaar veel goede herinneringen aan deze baan. Het is een van de mooiste circuits ter wereld en een plek vol autosportgeschiedenis. Gary geeft me de kans om een DTM-bolide te besturen en het wordt de eerste keer sinds 1999 dat ik over Brands Hatch rij. De DTM is een geweldige serie met veel close racing en sommige van de beste coureurs ter wereld. Voor mij is het een leuke ervaring en een fantastische mogelijkheid om tijd door te brengen met de Britse fans die me al jaren trouw steunen", aldus Button.
