Ecclestone juicht te vroeg over contractverlenging Singapore

De organisatie van de Grand Prix van Singapore nam met verbazing kennis van de uitspraken van Bernie Ecclestone in de krant Today. De commerciële baas van de Formule 1 liet weten dat Singapore het contract met vijf jaar had verlengd.

Voor Promotor Singapore GP is dat nieuw. "Wat Ecclestone heeft voorgesteld is voor ons onvoldoende om akkoord te gaan met een nieuw vijfjarig contract. We blijven wel hoopvol gestemd dat we een regeling kunnen treffen die voor alle partijen aanvaardbaar is."
