NL Drift Series weer van de partij bij City Racing Rotterdam

Ze zorgen elk jaar weer voor een waar spektakelstuk op het parcours van City Racing. Wie vorig jaar rondom het Hofplein stond zal de geur van brandend rubber met gemak naar boven kunnen halen. City Racing Rotterdam is dan ook trots om de NL Drift Series aan het programma toe te voegen voor de editie van 2012, die op 26 augustus plaats vindt.

Tim Coronel: "City Racing Rotterdam wordt dit jaar alweer voor de achtste keer verreden en wij zijn dan ook weer aanwezig. Met rijders die deelnemen aan het Nederlands Kampioenschap Driften zijn we dan ook weer van plan om het Hofplein en de straten onder rook te zetten! Het publiek gaat altijd geweldig uit zijn dak als de wagens met veel pks de nodige bandensporen neerleggen. We zijn dit jaar van plan om met zeven autos te komen, zelf geef ik een demonstratie geeft met de Nissan 350Z!"

Ook mede-organisator Herman Vaanholt is in zijn nopjes met de 'donut-draaiers': "De drifters horen echt bij City Racing. Ik weet zeker dat ze er weer een fantastische show van gaan maken!"

In 2012 komt de NL Drift Series met Tim Coronel met zijn Nissan 350Z en de Nissan S13, Jack Dam met zijn dikke BMW E36, Vernon Zwanenveld met de Nissan PS13, Dennis van der Prijt met een BMW M5 mét V8 motor, Dennis van Loon met zijn nieuw opgebouwde Nissan Skyline R33 met een RB30 motorblok met maar liefst 900 PK en Gerrit-Jan Toonen (bijnaam Sik) met zijn Opel Manta met BMW Z3M motor.
