Mercedes neemt aerodynamicaspecialist Mike Elliot over van Lotus

Het team van Mercedes schuift wat met de poppetjes in het technische team. Autosprint bericht dat aerodynamica-baas John Owen promoveert naar de rol van technisch directeur. Mike Elliot, een nieuwe aanwinst die van Lotus is overgenomen, gaat leiding geven aan de aerodynamica-afdeling.

Autosprint vraagt zich terecht af hoe het zit met de technische zwaargewichten binnen Mercedes. De Duitse renstal heeft Aldo Costa, Geoff Willis en Bob Bell in dienst. Het Italiaanse magazine speculeert op een kleinere werkkracht bij het fabrieksteam van Mercedes.
