Magny-Cours presenteert begin september nieuw Grand Prix-plan

Frankrijk heeft de hoop om volgend jaar op de Formule 1-kalender terug te keren nog niet opgegeven. Een initiatief van de vorige Franse regering om op Paul Ricard in 2013 een Grand Prix te organiseren viel in duigen met de verkiezing van Francois Hollande als nieuwe president.

De plannen staan echter nog niet helemaal op een laag pitje. Le Figaro bericht dat Magny-Cours op 4 september een nieuw voorstel voor een Formule 1-race in 2013 presenteert en indient. Magny-Cours was van 1991 tot en met 2008 de vaste gastheer voor de Grand Prix van Frankrijk.
