Ferrari opteert zeker voor young drivers-test op Magny-Cours

De verdeelde young drivers-test van 2012 krijgt een vervolg op het circuit van Magny-Cours. Ferrari zal in de week na de Italiaanse Grand Prix sowieso naar Frankrijk afreizen voor een driedaagse sessie met coureurs met minder dan drie Formule 1-races aan ervaring, zo weet Autosport.

Het voorstel voor een test op Magny-Cours kwam van Mercedes, dus het is waarschijnlijk dat de Duitse renstal de Scuderia vergezelt op de Franse baan. Red Bull Racing, Scuderia Toro Rosso en McLaren blijven bij hun plannen voor de young drivers-test op Yas Marina Circuit in de week na de Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi. Williams, HRT en Marussia losten de sessie na de Britse Grand Prix al in op Silverstone. De plannen van Force India, Lotus, Sauber en Caterham zijn nog onduidelijk.
