A1GP: Japan mist wellicht GP Zuid-Afrika

Het A1 Grand Prix-team van Japan lijkt het raceweekend in Zuid-Afrika te missen vanwege problemen met het budget. Martin Stone van Carlin Motorsport, wat verantwoordelijk is voor het Japanse team in de nieuwste raceklasse, heeft toegegeven dat hij nog niet genoeg geld opzij heeft kunnen zetten voor de straat race in Durban van aankomend weekend.

We zijn nog steeds bezig om de financiën voor Japan zeker te stellen. De uitrusting en wagen zullen wel aanwezig zijn. Onze andere teams, Portugal en Libanon, zullen wel aanwezig zijn en de monteurs zijn al onderweg, zo liet Stone weten, die het team van de rijzende zon de Grand Prix op het circuit van Estoril eerder dit seizoen ook al liet missen vanwege financiële problemen.
