Video: Nyck de Vries in hoofdrol van animatieserie Tooned

De animatieserie van McLaren genaamd Tooned was in het weekend van de Koreaanse Grand Prix toe aan de achtste aflevering. Dit keer is een hoofdrol weggelegd voor Nyck de Vries, de Nederlander uit het opleidingsprogramma van de Britse renstal. Hieronder is de nieuwste aflevering, Lecture Circuit, te zien.

    Super cool filmpje, hopelijk krijg hij ooit de kans net als Hamilton om voor het team uit te komen en wereldkampioen te worden. Het zegt denk ik genoeg dat ze hem uitkiezen voor deze cartoon in de plaats van Magnussen of Turvey. Wie weet krijgen we ooit een twee strijd voor het kampioenschap tussen Frijns en De Vries. Dat zou heel vet zijn!

      Ik denk dat de voornaamste reden dat ze Nyck kiezen zijn sponsor Lucozade is.

      Henry... ??? Lucozade is de sponsor van het team, en van Nyck. Hij is supergetalenteerd, daarom kiezen ze hem. Niet vanwege een sponsor.

    Mclaren wordt in het jaar 2016 Tooned F1 , als ? Nyck de Vries komt rijden.

    Hahaa super leuk filmpje hoop dat nyck het waar kan maken de komende jaren. Hij staat wel mooi in de spotlights zo.

    Leuk filmpje,maar wat gaat McLaren verder voor hem doen(dit seizoen werd hij vierde).
    Het is te hopen dat ze voor hem meer gaan betekenen,dan de andere jongens in hun programma,zoals talent Magnussen die ze ook weer weinig ondersteuning geven en zo zijn er al zoveel geweest,laten ze een voorbeeld nemen aan het Red Bull programma,want die doen het met veel meer succes,en overigens komt Turvey helemaal niet uit hun talenten programma,wat ook weer heel veel zegt.

      Wat is zeer weinig ondersteuning volgens jou? Dat ze niet elk jaar in een winnende auto worden gezet door McLaren? Dat is namelijk bewust, omdat ze dit bij Hamilton wel hebben gedaan en hebben gemerkt dat hij erg veel moeite had om goed om te gaan met een mindere periode in de Formule 1. McLaren wil de coureurs in hun opleidingsprogramma er juist ook aan laten wennen dat je soms moet vechten wat je waard bent om als 6e over de streep te komen.

    Geweldig dat ze dat gozertje in het filmpje doen. Ik zou me als Hamilton & button wel schamen, het zijn wel hele kinderachtige filmpjes en ik vraag me af voor wie ze eigenlijk gemaakt worden. Ik hoop niet dat ik de doelgroep ben.

    Haha heel leuk. Nyck beleeft trouwens een behoorlijk debuutseizoen in de autosport. Staat 4de in de WK stand van de WSR 2.0 en dat is erg netjes. Als hij goed blijft presteren dan is de kans groot dat hij dezelfde weg bewandeld als Hamilton. En hoe cool zou dat zijn?
