Force India investeert 50 miljoen pond in nieuwe technologieën

Het team van Force India kan een kapitaalinjectie van 50 miljoen pond tegemoet zien. De raad van bestuur van de Indiase renstal heeft ingestemd met de investering. Force India besteedt het geld voornamelijk als impuls voor de ontwerp-afdeling.

Teambaas Vijay Mallya legt uit: "Na Abu Dhabi hebben we vergaderd en het bestuur is akkoord gegaan met de kapitaalinjectie van 50 miljoen pond. We investeren zwaar in nieuwe technologieën om het ontwerpteam meer middelen te geven om verder vooraan op de grid te staan."

    Dit team is de afgelopen erg sterk naar v oren gekomen en heeft zich echt ontwikkeld.
    Ik ben blij om te zien dat het met sommige teams juist erg goed gaat (in vergelijking met de financiele chaos bij sommige andere teams)

    Ik vraag me af waar hij het geld vandaan haalt. Zijn eigen luchtvaartmaatschappij is failliet verklaard omdat hij de leningen, salarissen e.d. niet kon betalen.

    Doen ze goed Force India. Echt een team wat van de achterkant van de grid naar voren is gekomen en hiermee respect en status in F1 heeft afgedwongen. Ik ben blij dat ze nu flink gaan investeren om ze verder naar voren te krijgen. Ik denk wel dat je het effect van deze investering pas in 2014 gaat zien. omdat de aanpassingen nog moeten gebeuren. Maar Keep on going.......
