Red Bull Racing beloont personeel met 10.000 pond bonus

Het team van Red Bull Racing is genereus naar het personeel na het behalen van de wereldtitels dit jaar. Elk teamlid ontvangt een bonus van tenminste 10.000 pond, zo schrijft The Telegraph. De Oostenrijkse renstal reserveert een veelvoud van dat bedrag voor Sebastian Vettel en Adrian Newey.

De uitkering van de bonussen loopt bij Red Bull Racing in de miljoenen, maar is nog altijd flink minder dan wat het kampioenschap aan geld oplevert via de Concorde Agreement. In dat kader was de uitvalbeurt van Lewis Hamilton in Brazilië ook zeer kostbaar voor McLaren. Daardoor bleef Ferrari buiten schot en de Scuderia verzekerde zich zo van 12 miljoen dollar meer dan de Britse rivaal.
