Felix da Costa wacht af wat Red Bull voor hem in petto heeft

Antonio Felix da Costa brak dit jaar definitief door als toptalent. De jonge Portugees verwierf halverwege het seizoen een plek in het opleidingsprogramma van Red Bull en maakte vervolgens furore in de GP3 en de World Series by Renault. En passant won hij ook de prestigieuze Formule 3-wedstrijd in Macau.

Felix da Costa is in afwachting van wat de bedoeling is voor 2013. De Portugees gaat waarschijnlijk een heel seizoen in de World Series by Renault racen en maakt wellicht ook af en toe zijn opwachting voor Scuderia Toro Rosso in een vrije training bij een Grand Prix. Felix da Costa vertelde aan Sky Sports F1: "We zullen zien, ik weet niet precies wat ze voor mij in gedachten hebben. Ik heb nog niets gehoord wat betreft volgend jaar, geniet van mijn vakantie en wacht op een belletje van de grote jongens. Op dit moment kan ik weinig zeggen, maar of het nou World Series is, of de Formule 1, of in de simulator, ik ga sowieso alles geven."
