Onderhandelingen Lotus en sponsor Honeywell duren voort

De gesprekken tussen Lotus en Honeywell nemen meer tijd in beslag dan aanvankelijk gedacht. Vorige maand dook het verhaal al op dat de Britse renstal Honeywell als titelsponsor probeert te strikken. Van een akkoord is nog geen sprake, zo weet Speed Week.

Honeywell is een Amerikaanse elektronicagigant en leek het voorbeeld van Coca-Cola te volgen door zich aan te sluiten bij Lotus. Het duurt allemaal wat lang. Teambaas Eric Boullier: "Er is nog altijd niets getekend." Lotus presenteert aanstaande maandag al de nieuwe E21.
