Mercedes slaat handen ineen met Tata Communications

Het team van Mercedes heeft een nieuwe partner mogen verwelkomen. Tata Communications, de communicatie-tak van de Tata Group, zal bij de Duitse renstal als 'Official Managed Connectivity Supplier' fungeren en de data-overdracht van het circuit naar de fabriek en andersom optimaliseren.

Mercedes-teambaas Ross Brawn: "Het doet ons deugd om samen te werken met Tata Communications. Formule 1-teams zijn erg afhankelijk van data en de mogelijkheden om dat snel naar de fabriek te versturen. Het globale netwerk van Tata Communications gaat een grote rol spelen in onze prestaties en onze kansen om snel te reageren. Dat ons data-verkeer voortaan drie keer zo snel zal gaan is fantastisch. Tata Communications vormt een grote aanwinst in deze veeleisende omgeving en we kijken ernaar uit om een nauwe relatie op te bouwen."
